Mr. Toney is happy to discuss the situations of prospective clients over the telephone. In some cases telephone conversations are sufficient to determine whether the person has a legitimate claim and whether Mr. Toney has sufficient time and experience necessary to represent the person. Mr. Toney does not, however, give legal advice to prospective clients over the telephone.

In other cases, normally where the issues are more complex, it is necessary for Mr. Toney to review documentation provided by the client. Where document review is required, Mr. Toney charges a reduced fee for the document review and provides the prospective client with a written opinion addressing the strengths and weaknesses of individual's case and what courses of action may be available and appropriate.
